KompoZer 0.8a1 on MacOS X

Ragnaar has just built a MacOS X version of KompoZer 0.8a1 (universal binary):
There’s no dmg installer yet. If you want to give it a try, here you go:
- download this archive: kompozer-20090310-mac_universal.zip
- unzip it in your "Applications" folder
- backup and remove your profile folder (
~/Library/Application Support/KompoZeriirc) - open a terminal and use the following command to start KompoZer:
/Applications/KompoZer.app/Contents/MacOS/kompozer-bin
I’ll upload a dmg installer on SourceForge as soon as possible.
Don’t try to install any langpack yet, they need to be updated for this version.

Always happy to help, Kaze! :)
@Ragnaar:
Poked the app a little, got it to launch a few times from Finder, but I believe they were flukes, not real successes. Runs great from the terminal though!
Are there plans to debug the OS X build, or will it wait until the 0.8 branch gets past alpha? No matter what, I'm very pleased with the changes in 0.8, and it's running great on my Win and Lin boxes. Thanks Kaze, and thanks Ragnaar for this new build.
I've just bought a Mac Mini on eBay, and I'm typing my very first words with it right now! ;-)
I'll do my best to improve KompoZer's MacOS support. Thanks to Ragnaar's work, and hopefully with a little help from other Mac contributors, I should be able to release an official KompoZer build soon.
The upcoming alpha2 release should be available on the three main platforms. :-)
Congrats on the new Mac Mini! I look forward to the alpha2 release. I wish I were more knowledgeable so I could contribute to the project. For now I will simply donate when possible. Thank you again Kaze!
